Routine PlannerThe short version
Routine Planner has no accounts, no login and no server of ours. Your morning plans, checklists, wake-up times and settings are written to your own iPhone and stay there. We cannot read them, because they are never sent to us. We do not use analytics, we do not show ads, and we do not sell or share anything about you.
There is no "delete my data" request to make, because there is no copy of your data to delete. Removing the app from your phone removes everything it stored.
What stays on your phone
All of the following is stored only in the app's own storage on your device:
- Your morning plans — wake-up time, leave-by time and checklist items
- Your settings, including reminder times and your every-morning items
- The answers you gave during the app's setup questions
- The addresses you save as home and as places you have to be
- Your record of which mornings you left on time
- A local note of whether your subscription is active, so the app works offline
None of it is transmitted to us, and none of it is backed up to a server we control. It may be included in your own iPhone or iCloud device backup, which is under your control and governed by Apple's terms, not ours.
What leaves your phone
A few things reach the outside world, all of them to run a feature you asked for. Nothing else does.

Our routing service
Address lookups and journey predictions are sent through a small service we run on Cloudflare, which passes them to Google. It exists so the Google key is not shipped inside the app, and so we can cap how much any one installation can spend. It stores a per-day count of requests against the random identifier above, and a short-lived cache of journey predictions. It does not store your addresses, and it has no account to attach them to. The traffic feature
This runs on the addresses you enter. If you clear them in Settings, nothing is ever sent for it. The app does not use your device's GPS or ask for location permission — it works from the addresses you chose and nothing else, so it has no idea where you actually are.
Your calendar
"Alarm my calendar events" is off unless you turn it on. If you do, iOS asks your permission and the app reads upcoming events that have a location, so it can work out when to leave for them. That reading happens entirely on your device. Event titles, times and locations are never sent anywhere — only the coordinates of an event's location, and only to predict the journey, exactly as above.
Subscriptions
Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your card details, and we never receive your name, email address or Apple ID. We use RevenueCat to confirm whether a subscription is active. RevenueCat assigns your installation a random, anonymous identifier and receives purchase details from Apple. You can read RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.
Notifications
Every reminder the app sends — the evening nudge, the wake-up checklist, the leave-in-ten warning — is scheduled by the app on your own device. There is no push server, and no notification token is created or sent anywhere. If you decline notification permission, the rest of the app still works; you simply won't be reminded.
What we never do
- No accounts, logins or passwords
- No analytics, tracking pixels, advertising or advertising identifiers
- No selling, renting or sharing of personal information
- No profiling, and no use of your data to train anything
- No access to your contacts, photos, microphone or camera
- No access to your calendar unless you switch that feature on, and no copy of it if you do
- No collection of your GPS location
Children
The app is made for adults running a household and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, children included — there is no mechanism in the app by which we could.
Your choices
- Stop the traffic checks: clear both addresses in Settings.
- Stop the reminders: turn them off in Settings, or revoke notification permission in iOS Settings.
- Remove everything: delete the app. All stored data goes with it.
- Cancel a subscription: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts doing something this page doesn't describe, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change.
